Applies to: ViewSonic Manager; Entity account request
Organizations that do not yet have a ViewSonic Entity account can request one by contacting ViewSonic. Since ViewSonic Manager is only available under an Entity account, requesting an Entity account is the first step toward getting Manager access. A ViewSonic representative will work with you on the details needed to set up your organization's entity.
Before you begin
Have your organization's basic details ready, such as your organization name and domain, and know who should be listed as the Entity Owner and any Entity Admins.
Requesting an account
The general request path is as follows:
Contact your ViewSonic representative, or reach out through ViewSonic Support, to start the Entity account request.
Provide your organization's details when asked, including the intended Entity Owner and Entity Admin contacts.
A representative will review your request and follow up with any additional steps needed to complete setup.
Once the entity is created, the designated Owner and Admins receive access to the relevant management consoles, including Manager.
Additional notes
Some additional points that may be useful:
An Entity account is the prerequisite for Manager; Manager access itself is then granted to individual users from inside Manager after the entity exists. See "Who can use ViewSonic Manager?" for details.
Processing time and the exact information Support needs for a request are not yet finalized in this article — contact Support for current requirements and expected turnaround.
