Applies to: ViewSonic Manager; Settings > Permissions
Users who already have Manager access can grant or remove Manager access for other users from the Permissions page under Settings. Only users who already belong to your Entity's user list can be granted access — external accounts cannot be added.
Before you begin
You must already have Manager access to grant or remove access for other users. The person you want to add must already be listed as a user in your ViewSonic Entity portal; if they are not, an Entity Admin will need to add them there first.
How to grant Manager access
To add a new Manager user:
Launch Manager.
Click Settings on the top toolbar.
Click Permissions from the dropdown.
Click the Add Manager user button in the upper-right corner.
Select one or more users from the entity's user list.
Click Confirm to grant Manager access.
The selected user(s) should now appear in the Permissions list. Ask the user to confirm they can see the Manager tile and open Manager.
How to remove Manager access
To remove a user's access:
Launch Manager.
Click Settings on the top bar.
Click Permissions from the dropdown.
Locate the row of the user to remove and hover over it to reveal the row icons.
Click the Delete icon. The user should no longer appear in the list.
Additional notes
Some additional points that may be useful:
Any user with Manager access can grant or remove access for other users. If you need to restrict permissions in more detail per user, a Manager Advanced license is required.
The Entity Owner cannot be removed from the Manager user list.
For newly created entities, only the Entity Owner has Manager access by default; the Owner must sign in to Manager to assign the first additional users.
Need more help
If a user still cannot see the Manager tile after being granted access, or if the Permissions page does not behave as expected, contact ViewSonic Support with your organization name and the affected user's account email.
