The Reports page generates usage reports—covering device, app, and input source usage—for a custom time frame. Reports display as a bar or pie graph and can be exported to Excel for further analysis. Reports is a Manager Advanced feature.

Create a report

  1. Click Reports in the left side menu.

  2. On the main toolbar, click the Devices dropdown and choose All devices, Starred devices, Groups, or specific devices.

  3. Optionally use Search to filter for specific devices or groups.

  4. Set a date range if needed.

  5. Click Create to generate the report.

  6. Toggle between a bar or pie graph view.

Export a report

  1. Generate the report you want to export.

  2. Locate the section that contains the data to export.

  3. Click Export to Excel file. The .xlsx file starts downloading immediately.

Additional notes

Some additional points that may be useful:

  • Report data covers usage times for devices, apps, and input sources, shown graphically before export.

  • Use the search bar when filtering by device or group to find your target faster in large fleets.

Need more help

If a report shows unexpected or missing data for a device, verify the device was online during the selected date range, then contact ViewSonic Support with the report filters you used if the issue persists.
