myViewBoard 3.0 replaces the legacy (2.0) toolbar with a redesigned UI/UX built to look and behave the same way across Windows, Android, and iOS. Beyond the visual refresh, 3.0 adds new file-management, canvas, and tool features that weren't available in 2.0, and it brings Magic Box tools into closer alignment across platforms so behavior doesn't vary as much by device.
New features by area
| Area | New in 3.0 |
|---|---|
| File management | Multi-tabs (switch between and copy-paste across several .OLF lesson files in one session); Export File Preview with cloud storage integration and QR code sharing |
| Canvas / background | Navigation Map for jumping across a large canvas; Irlen Filter option in the background menu; Long Press (or right-click) for quick access to preferred tools; added tooltips and shortcuts on Android and macOS |
| Tools | Participate Mode improvements (full-screen/canvas toggle, pop-up grading and progress windows); Speech-to-Text; Flash Cards; Combine Shapes; improved AI Pen automatic image search |
Cross-device consistency and icon changes
One of the more practical changes is that Magic Box tools now behave and are available more consistently across Android, iOS, and Windows, so a lesson built on one device works the same way on another. If you relied on 2.0 icon placement from muscle memory, expect a short adjustment period rather than a like-for-like swap of every icon.
