Applies to: myViewBoard 3.0
Present Mode expands the myViewBoard window to fill the whole screen, hiding the taskbar and tabs bar so lesson content gets maximum display space. It also activates any objects set with a Fade in/out animation, which otherwise stay static.
To enter Present Mode: click Present Mode on the floating/navigation toolbar, or press F11 on an attached keyboard.
To exit Present Mode: click Present Mode again, or press F11, to restore the window to its previous size.
Switch to Present Mode right before delivering a lesson, not while building one.
Setting Present Mode as the default launch mode
By default, myViewBoard launches in Prepare Mode, which keeps full taskbar access and suits lesson creation and editing on desktops. To make an installation always open directly in Present Mode (useful for interactive flat panels or other large-screen installs where staff shouldn't need to hunt for a taskbar or exposed desktop icons):
Go to the user avatar's Settings menu.
Open the System Config tab.
Choose Present Mode from the Default mode dropdown.
Windows' own taskbar auto-hide setting can override how Present Mode handles the taskbar.
