To set up an Entity, your organization requests one through ViewSonic's Contact page. There's no self-service "create an Entity" button. The process runs through a ViewSonic representative rather than an automated signup flow, as outlined below.

Steps to request an Entity

  1. Submit a request on the ViewSonic Contact page, stating that your organization wants to sign up for an Entity account. Since the request isn't tied to a hardware unit, use "SN-0000" as the Serial Number and "XXX" as the Model Name.

  2. Receive confirmation. ViewSonic sends an automated acknowledgment, and a regional representative follows up within roughly 72 hours to begin the Entity creation process.

  3. Complete the Entity Request Form (it carries an expiration date), specifying who will hold the Entity Owner and Entity Admin roles and selecting your Entity type based on your organization's domain.

  4. Wait for review and approval. Once ViewSonic approves the form, a representative begins onboarding your organization.

  5. Get portal access. The designated Owner and Admin receive access to the ViewSonic Entity Management portal, Manager, and Insights.

Entity Request Form and Entity type

The Entity Request Form expires, so complete it promptly once received. Choosing the correct Entity type, based on your organization's domain, matters up front, since domain verification later confirms which users are valid Entity members.
