Slight electronic humming is often normal (Coil Whine); however, persistent or loud noise may require environmental troubleshooting or technical support.

  1. Check Power Source: Plug the monitor directly into a wall outlet instead of a power strip to rule out electrical interference from other devices.

  2. Adjust Brightness: Try changing the brightness level. In some models, the internal power board may emit different frequencies depending on power load.

  3. Secure Connections: Unplug and firmly reinsert the power adapter and video cables (HDMI/DP).

  4. Cross-Test: If possible, test the monitor with a different power cable or in a different room to verify the stability of the power supply.

Note: Tip: This phenomenon, known as "Coil Whine," is common in electronic components and does not affect the monitor's lifespan or performance.

Warning: If the noise is accompanied by a burning smell, screen flickering, or is loud enough to be heard from a normal sitting distance, please disconnect the power immediately and contact the ViewSonic Service Center.
